SRK Exports is India’s largest exporter of finished diamonds. They have a thriving business in Surat and have lot of community initiatives in the area to build the people lives in a better and more resourceful way.
One of these initiatives is the SRK Knowledge Foundation. The foundation is focused on educating people with skills training relating to the diamond industry and other allied industries. The aim is to make the underprivileged masses more employable and give them the correct exposure.
The logo that we have created is based on Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. In origami, simple 2-dimensional paper is folded into different shapes and objects that have different meaning and often a new dimension altogether. Similarly, the foundation moulds the lives of people to give it a different meaning by empowering them with education.
The form used is that of a bird. The bird represents freedom and flying high and is based on the thought that the sky is the limit for those who persevere.
